Thursday – “Sunrises, Sunsets, and Scenic Spots” – Gardner Art Museum
– 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Please join us this Thursday, June 2,
from 6-8 pm for the opening reception of our summer exhibit. The photography show
is entitled, "Sunrises, Sunsets & Scenic Spots". It was open to
amateur and professional photographers' entries. It will run until September 8
during regular museum hours. The reception is open to the public. No
reservations are required. At the grand opening (6-8 pm) there will be a Silent
Auction to benefit the Gardner Museum. Bid, bid, bid, and you might take home a

Art Walk, Keene NH – (Continues June 11 and 12) For 23 years, this free event transforms our
downtown into a unique and vibrant self-guided walking art gallery. The Art
Walk allows artists to share their talents while enriching the lives of our
community. The 2016 Art Walk will be held over the first two weekends in June:
Friday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 12th. Come enjoy the beautiful artwork
and celebrate in our beautiful downtown. The two Saturdays during Art Walk will
include face painting, music, art demonstrations, and artist receptions. New this year is the inclusion of: Digital
Arts - Digital Art includes
images/animation/film/photography in which digital media or technology is used
to enhance or blend the images in a way to produce a new image. There will be
several monitors in storefront windows dotted throughout the downtown to
showcase this form of art. Language Arts
- "Art" is a way of communicating. Language arts are a powerful tool
for communicating ideas, beliefs, and feelings. We want to encourage and honor
this art form by including it in the Art Walk this year. Displays will include
poetry, short stories, essays and word art. Come enjoy the beautiful artwork
and celebrate in our beautiful downtown. The two Saturdays during Art Walk will

4, Saturday – Paddling with Beavers
Tour at Nashoba Paddlers –6:00 p.m. Paddling past beaver lodges at dusk,
we are often startled by a loud tail-slap and splash. As we enjoy a riverside
dinner break, we occasionally have the opportunity to watch a beaver or muskrat

is Right – Emerging Musicians from Berklee College of Music, 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Tower Hill Botanical Gardens, Boylston MA - Wrong
Is Right is the blend of mandolin, fiddle and upright bass, played by Jake
Howard, Sumaia Jackson and Mike Gaisbacher respectively. These three vibrant
players and tune-writers met through a love of roots music at Berklee College
of Music. Bringing backgrounds in many American roots music styles with
combined skill and finesse on their instruments, Wrong Is Right is carving a
path through the contemporary acoustic scene. With driving groove and elegant
melodic interpretation, they explore the converging aspects of Bluegrass, Jazz
and other roots music. Their poise and witty personalities bring their music to
